Beef Stroganoff | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe
Charm your lunch buddies with this beef stroganoff cooked in the itaki. Layer the ingredients in the metal bowl accordingly. Remember the noodles have to be at the bottom to be cooked properly. You need mushrooms in this recipe but peas are optional. I just love the green it brings to the dish. Use the Better Than Bouillon to create an easy stock just by adding water. Who wants to bring along a jug of beef stock to work? Sour cream adds a final touch that is necessary. You need to bring it along with you. Ingredients
- 75g - mushrooms
- 200g - beef
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp - Better Than Bouillon (Beef)
- 1/2 cup - pasta
- 1/4 cup - peas
- 1/8 tsp - Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp - sour cream
- 1/3 cup - water (itaki)
- 1/2 cup - water (pasta)
Seasoning
- 1/8 tsp - salt
- 1/8 tsp - pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp - fried onion
Instructions
- Cut mushroom into slices.
- Slice beef into strips.
- Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder and fried onion.
- Prepare the itaki. Add 1 teaspoon of butter to the bottom of the metal bowl.
- Add the pasta followed by Better Than Bouillon.
- Add dijon mustard followed by sliced mushrooms.
- Add beef f.ollowed by frozen peas.
- Cover and keep in the fridge until ready to cook.
- One hour before meal time, add 1/3 cup of water to the itaki hotplate area.
- Place the metal bowl with ingredients in the itaki and add 1/2 cup of water to the pasta.
- Turn on and let food cook for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, stir the ingredients and add the sour cream.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Use any type of pasta that can fit the metal bowl easily.
- Sour cream is a must for the creamy texture. Add it at the end.
