Beef & Broccoli Ramen | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe | Cooks in 15 minutes
This fast cooking recipe takes only 15 minutes in the itaki. Beef and broccoli with instant ramen makes it possible to get a fresh and nutritious meal in 15 minutes. Layer the noodles at the bottom to let it soak up all the flavor from the beef. The noodles taste wonderful although it looks a bit pale. If you would like a darker looking noodles, swap out half of the soy sauce for dark soy sauce. This recipe is simple and fast and makes lunch time much more enjoyable. The huge amount of broccoli give the illusion that you are eating healthy. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 100g - broccoli
- 200g - beef
- 1 pkt - ramen noodles
- 40 ml- water (itaki) 15mins
- 1/3 cup - water (noodles)
Sauce
- 1 Tbsp - soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp - garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp - ginger powder
- 1/8 tsp - black pepper
- 1 tsp - sesame oil
- 1 tsp - corn starch
- 1 Tbsp - honey
Instructions
- Cut the broccoli into florets.
- Slice the beef into thin strips.
- Combine all ingredients for the sauce together and mix well.
- Add the sauce to the beef and mix to marinade the beef.
- Prepare the itaki by adding some oil to the bottom of the metal bowl.
- Add the ramen noodle. Press the noodle to flatten it to the bottom.
- Add the marinated beef above the noodles and spread them out evenly.
- Add broccoli next.
- Cover and keep in the fridge until ready to cook.
- 30 minutes before the meal, add 1 itaki cup of water to the itaki hotplate area.
- Place metal bowl with ingredients on the itaki.
- Add 1/3 cup of water into the metal bowl.
- Cover, power on and wait for food to cook.
- Food is cooked after 15 minutes. Stir to mix and enjoy!
Notes
- Add more water to the itaki to lengthen cooking time for softer broccoli.
- Beef should be cut thinly to cook in 15 minutes.
