Meatball Fettuccine | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe
This is a simple meatball fettuccine recipe. You can make the meatballs in advance or just use store bought ones. All you have to do is layer the ingredients accordingly and you can have a delicious meatball pasta dish for lunch in the office or dorm. The sequence to the layers are important. The pasta needs water to cook which is why it has to be at the most bottom layer. Make this recipe for lunch and you will be happy for the rest of the day. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 50g - cherry tomato
- 200g - meatballs
- 60g - fettuccine
- 1/3 cup - pasta sauce
- 1/3 cup - water (itaki)
- 1/3 cup - water (pasta)
- 1 tsp - parmesan cheese
Meatballs
- 2 Tbsp - breadcrumbs
- 1.5 Tbsp - milk
- 150g - ground beef
- 150g - ground pork
- 1 - egg
- 1 tsp - fried onion
- 1/8 tsp - garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp - parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp - salt
- 1/2 tsp - pepper
- 1 tsp - red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Write instructionsAdd milk to breadcrumbs. Stir and leave aside for 5 mins to let breadcrumbs soak up the milk.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes iinto halves.
- Add the ground prok to the ground beef.
- Add the soaked breadcrumbs, egg, fried onion, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to the meat.
- Mix all the ingredients together and form into meatballs.
- The mixture is enough to make 2 to 3 batches of meatballs. Place the extra amount into a freezer safe bag and keep in the freezer for future use.
- Prepare the itaki by drizzling some oil at the bottom of the metal bowl.
- Place fettucine nest next.
- Add the meatballs, followed by the cherry tomatoes and pasta sauce.
- Cover and keep in the fridge until ready to cook.
- One hour before meal, add 1/3 cup of water to itaki hotplate area.
- Place metal bowl of ingredients on itaki.
- Add another 1/3 cup of water into the ingredients.
- Cover and turn on the itaki.
- After 30 minutes, food is cooked. Stir and enjoy!
Notes
- Add more herbs and spices to the meatballs according to your preference.
- Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top before eating.
