Pasta Bolognese | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe
Fancy having some freshly cooked pasta bolognese for lunch in the office? Follow this simple recipe with the itaki pro and you will have lunch ready in no time. Just add water to the prepared ingredients one hour before lunch, then sit back and relax (or continue to work) while your food cooks. Remember to keep the prepared ingredients in the refrigerator until cooking time.
Ingredients
- 50g - cherry tomato
- 50g - cremini mushroom
- 1/2 cup - pasta (any type)
- 125g - ground turkey (or beef)
- 1/3 cup - pasta sauce
- 1/3 cup - water (itaki)
- 1/3 cup - water (pasta)
- Parmesan cheese - as much as you like
Instructions
- Cut cherry tomatoes into halves.
- Clean and cut mushrooms into quarters.
- Prepare the itaki. Drizzle some oil at the bottom of the metal bowl.
- Place your preferred type of pasta at the bottom.
- Add the ground turkey and spread them out for even cooking.
- Add the tomatoes followed by the pasta sauce.
- Add mushrooms on top.
- Cover and keep in the fridge if not cooking immediately.
- Add 1/3 cup of water to the hotplate of the itaki one hour before meal time.
- Place metal bowl into itaki.
- Add another 1/3 cup of water into the metal bowl to cook pasta.
- Power on the itaki and wait 30 minutes for food to cook.
- Pasta is ready after 30 minute. Stir to mix and add parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use any type of pasta that will fit the itaki bowl.
- Use any ground meat that you like.
- Any type of pasta sauce will work.
- Uncooked pasta has to be on the most bottom in order to cook in water.
