Teriyaki Beef | Itaki Pro Electric Lunch Box Recipe
Teriyaki beef can be made on the itaki pro easily. We used ready made teriyaki sauce to season the meat. You can replace the beef with chicken or pork. Hearty vegetables round up the dish to make it a healthy and nutritious meal. Who wouldn’t like a freahly made teriyaki beef with rice on a normal work lunch? Especially when you can have it at a fraction of the cost compare to eating it at a restaurant.

Make teriyaki beef over rice for lunch. Add any type of vegetables you like and it becomes a wholesome meal. Simple and easy cooking using the itaki pro. Beef may get a little tough if cooked too long so I do not cut it too thinly. Try out this recipe for a perfect lunch in the office. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 30g - snow peas
- 30g - bell pepper
- 50g - mushroom
- 150g - beef
- 1/4 cup - teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp - corn starch
- 1/3 cup - rice
- 1/3 cup - water (itaki)
- 1/3 cup - water (rice)
Instructions
- Cut snow peas into smaller pieces.
- Cut bell pepper into strips.
- Slice up the mushroom .and beef
- Coat beef with corn starch.
- Marinate beef with teriyaki sauce.
- Prepare the itaki. Add the bell peppers and snow peas to the bottom.
- Add the beef with all the sauce on top of the vegetables followed by the mushrooms.
- Add rice that is washed and drained to the upper tray.
- Cover and keep in the fridge until ready to cook.
- One hour before meal, add 1/3 cup of water to the itaki.
- Place metal bowl of ingredients on the itaki.
- Add another 1/3 cup of water to the rice.
- Cover, plug in, power on and wait for 30 minutes.
- Food is cooked after 30 minutes. Stir the beef to coat all ingredients with the teriyaki sauce.
- Enjoy the teriyaki beef and vegatables with the rice.
Notes
- Beef can be replace with pork or chicken.
- Add vegetables 15 minutes into cooking time if you like it less cooked.
- Any other types of vegetables can be added. Be mindful of the cook time of vegetables to not overcook.
